Product Introduction

Weifang Shengde's large borehole guide bit or one-opening bit adopts double rows of teeth, deepens the length of the inner cone, and lengthens the length of the retaining diameter, which prevents tilting during drilling and ensures the verticality of the borehole. Strong rock-breaking capacity, good cutting feed effect

Product Advantage

- Increased drilling efficiency: Large-bore PDC bits have a higher cutting efficiency that allows them to penetrate formations faster, resulting in increased drilling efficiency.

- Increased Drilling Depth: Large-bore PDC bits are designed to be more robust and able to withstand higher drilling pressures and torque, resulting in increased drilling depth.

- Reduced Drilling Costs: The longer life of large bore PDC bits reduces the number of bit changes, which in turn reduces drilling costs.

- We have a range of large borehole drills, 17.5" and 16", with a reasonable tooth angle, suitable for the pilot hole or initial stage of the drilling operation.

Product Uses

1. Oilfield Drilling Application Scenario:

Large-bore PDC bits are extensively utilized in oilfield drilling operations due to their exceptional cutting efficiency and durability. These bits are specifically designed to penetrate various formations encountered during oil exploration and production. In this application scenario, the large-bore PDC bits are utilized in conjunction with drilling rigs to create boreholes in the earth's crust for the extraction of crude oil. The bits' robust construction and advanced cutting structures enable them to effectively handle the challenges posed by different rock formations, ensuring smooth and efficient drilling operations in oilfields.

2. Coal Mining Application Scenario:

Large-bore PDC bits find significant application in coal mining operations, where they play a crucial role in the extraction of coal deposits. These bits are specifically engineered to tackle the demanding conditions encountered in coal seams, such as hard and abrasive rock formations. In this application scenario, the large-bore PDC bits are employed in coal mining machines to drill through the layers of rock and reach the coal seams. The bits' high-quality polycrystalline diamond compact (PDC) cutters and sturdy design enable them to efficiently cut through the challenging formations, enhancing the productivity and safety of coal mining operations.

3. Non-Excavation Application Scenario:

Large-bore PDC bits are extensively utilized in non-excavation applications, where underground drilling is required without disturbing the surface or existing structures. These applications include the installation of underground utilities, such as pipelines and cables, as well as geological surveys and environmental investigations. In this scenario, the large-bore PDC bits are utilized in specialized drilling equipment, such as horizontal directional drilling (HDD) machines or guided boring machines. The bits' exceptional cutting performance and stability allow for precise and controlled drilling, ensuring accurate placement of underground utilities without causing disruptions or damages to the surrounding environment.

4. Geothermal Drilling Application Scenario:

Large-bore PDC bits are widely employed in geothermal drilling, where they facilitate the extraction of heat from the earth's subsurface for various energy applications. Geothermal drilling involves drilling deep boreholes to access geothermal reservoirs, which contain hot water or steam that can be utilized for electricity generation or direct heating. In this application scenario, the large-bore PDC bits are utilized in geothermal drilling rigs to penetrate the hard rock formations and reach the geothermal reservoirs. The bits' advanced cutting structures and high thermal stability enable them to withstand the extreme conditions encountered during geothermal drilling, ensuring efficient and reliable extraction of geothermal energy.

Product Operate Guide

1. Inspect the condition of the previous bit used, looking for any damage, dropped cutters, reduced diameter, etc. Ensure that there are no cemented carbide or steel cutters or other hard objects at the bottom of the well after the last use of the bit. If necessary, clean the bottom of the well.

2. Examine the drill bit's cutters for any abnormalities and check if the nozzle hole has an O-ring. Install the nozzle as needed.

3. Thoroughly clean the male or female thread of the bit and apply thread oil.

4. Attach the unloader to the drill bit and lower the drill string until it makes contact with the male or female thread. Secure the connection.

5. Place the drill bit and unloader into the turntable bushing, then tighten the screw thread according to the recommended torque value.
